Survived by her husband of 22 years, Greg, her children, Leah, Sean, Josh, Zach, her sister Bernice, nieces Dawn, Christina, nephew Dan and extended family. Sheilah was granddaughter of George and Mary Bell, Roscoe Walter (Pete) and Hazel Ditto, the daughter of Don and Winnie Ditto, and sibling to Gerald, Keith and Matt.
Sheilah had found her passion as an outreach worker for School District 36. She was grateful for her colleagues and childhood friends. She was a musician at heart who loved children and the arts. Sheilah was genuinely kind, with humble faith and who served others in practical ways. She will be dearly missed.
Starting in 2023, a new trophy will be awarded under the name of:
Sheilah and Keith Ditto Memorial Trophy. The trophy and scholarship will be awarded each and subsequent years to: Most Promising Interpretive Dancer/ Most Promising Choreographer chosen by the adjudicator.

Sheilah loved gardening. Some of Sheilah’s favorite flowers were: lilacs, tiger lilies, peonies, carnations, hoyas, hyacinth, and gardenias. It would be an honour for the family to see these flowers planted in Sheilah's memory and any subsequent pictures sent to us or posted on social media.
