When I think about Sandy,

I think in a fighter person, especially in the years I have an opportunity to know her.

She was a hard worker, a good mother, and good grandma.

When the situations arrive to her life, she was a fighter, and she battled her illness with strong temperament and character, she fell and she got up again. After hard treatments she participated in a Sun Run, she trained for hours and hours in her everyday walks to participate with Shidan and I in the Sun Run 2014.


I told her something I listen long time ago, "when your body can't keep going, you ask your mind, when your mind also can't, you take your spirit and ask for help" and she did it. She arrived to the finish line.


Life again gave the opportunity to unite her after 40 years with her family in the UK. She started many years ago going to her heritage tree and keep in contact with all her family, and she did it.

This events fill her soul. She was a persistent and perseverant person.

She loves travel, enjoy the simple things in life, and she always appreciates the moment. She was kind, a good human.


Many skills this woman has,

But the most important; her skill to fight with adversity, and she did.


Now she is in the presence of God and with her parents and looking after in the sky for her family.

Its impossible to write something that's even remotely adequate. And impossible to believe Sandy isn't still here with us. 
My heart will always remember her and all the fun we had together over the course of so many years!

My prayers and thoughts are with you all as you mourn the loss of Sandy.  I will remember the fun times we shared in Hawaii, Los Vegas and especially on her celebratory retirement Alaska cruise.  Sandy was a woman of courage and grace and will be missed.

Will forever remember our girls dinner out and your infectious laugh.
