December 29, 1930 –July 22, 2016
After a long battle with Alzheimer’s, Paul is now in heaven, singing, celebrating and recalling the wonderful memories he had forgotten. Born in Vancouver, BC, Paul was pre-deceased by his parents, Paul & Elna Paulson, his brother Harry, sister Georgina and sister-in-law Jean. Survived by his beautiful bride of 63 years, Leona (nee Kiselbach), siblings Roy, David (Marie), and Mary (Vic) and by his children, PJ (Denise) and Monica (Dale), his grandchildren Daniel, Andrew (Pamela), Christopher, Tyler (Alyssa), Jordan, Sarah and his great grandson, Jose.
Paul loved to work, and always worked with a smile and a twinkle in his eye. Whether as Head of Security for Woodward’s Stores, printing church bulletins or running the sound board at Glad Tidings Church, heading out on global missions trips, working on many home renovation projects, or just enjoying the cabin in Sunshine Valley, Paul put his heart into all he did.
A celebration of Paul’s life will be held on Thursday, August 11th at 3:00pm at Willingdon Church, 4812 Willingdon Ave, Burnaby. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Glad Tidings Arctic Missions Society, PO Box 3474, Langley, BC V3A 4R8.
