It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Pamela after a courageous battle with cancer. Pamela was the eldest daughter of Louis and Verlie Arsenault born in Ramsgate, Kent U.K. Pamela’s father served in the Canadian Army and the family lived in Fredericton, N.B, Halifax, N.S., Victoria, B.C., Kingston, ON, and Vancouver, B.C. She graduated from Kitsilano High class of 1964. She then embarked on her career of secretarial work and bookkeeping. Pam was predeceased by her parents and sister Jeanette. She is survived by her loving husband Ian; her sons Robert and Kenneth, stepchildren Melissa and Alex; as well as five grandchildren: Kaelyn, Liam, Jaxson, Julia and Ethan; sister Cheryl and nieces and nephews.
Pam was an avid gardener and on most summer days could be found tending to her organic vegetable garden in Glen Valley. She took great pride in her garlic especially, often gifting it to neighbours and friends to enjoy.
One of Pam's favourite places to travel was to the Big Island of Hawaii with her husband Ian. There, she loved exploring the island and socializing with the residents of Kona Makai. This was something she looked forward to every February.
On Monday's, Pam enjoyed playing Upwords with friends and was even able to keep this going during COVID, through restrictions.
She will be deeply missed and forever treasured.
The family would like to sincerely thank you for your kindness and support during this time. It is greatly appreciated and will always be remembered.
