Pam was born on January 9, 1938 in West Tottenham, London, England. She was the eldest of two daughters. Pam passed away in her sleep in her home after a day surrounded by family and close friends.
Pam adored her grandchildren Kianna and Colin, who will miss her dearly, as will her nieces and nephews, her extended family and friends, her devoted sister Maureen (Don), and mostly by me her daughter Susie. She leaves us to join her loving husband George and daughter Sharon.
Pam immigrated to Canada in December 1963. By 1968 she had moved to Surrey, BC to the house she would call home for the rest of her life.
Pam touched so many lives in so many ways. She cherished her family, and her dear friends became family. She had a positive outlook on life that never waned and an amazing inner strength. She had a passion, love and talent for knitting, needlepoint, scrapbooking, baking, cooking and gardening.
Those who wish to honour Pam may consider making a donation to the BC Children’s Hospital or Covenant House.
Pam’s ashes were laid to rest in a private family service on June 29, 2021 at Valley View Cemetery in Surrey, BC.
Feel no guilt in laughter, she’d know how much you care.
Feel no sorrow in a smile that she is not here to share.
You cannot grieve forever, she would not want you to.
She’d hope that you could carry on the way you always do.
So, talk about the good times and the ways you showed you cared.
The days you spent together, all the happiness you shared.
Let memories surround you, a word someone may say
Will suddenly recapture a time, an hour, a day,
That brings her back as clearly as though she were still here,
And fills you with the feeling that she is always near.
For if you keep those moments, you will never be apart
And she will live forever locked safely in your heart.
