September 13, 1928 - October 7, 2014
After many years living in nursing care, Margaret peacefully left this world on October 7th. She was predeceased by her parents, Christian and Anna Jorimann, as well as her brother, Max Jorimann, and sister, Hilda Drown. Margaret spent her early years in Vancouver and New Westminster. She made life-long friends and was always an active parishioner and choir member of the Anglican Church. She had a strong sense of humour and enjoyed variety shows, funny films, celebrity roasts, and any entertainment full of laughter. White Rock was her home for the last leg of her journey and she moved into the Evergreen home in 2000. The caring and empathetic staff were wonderful, always enriching her life and keeping her as active as possible. Margaret is survived by her son, Dave, her daughter, Linda, her son-in-law Steven, and four grandchildren: Ellen, Carmen, James, and Alex. Also mourning her passing are Clay Keen and her siblings: Paul Jorimann, Emily (Geoff) Collins, and Jack (Dorothy) Jorimann as well as many nieces and nephews. Friends and relatives will be giving Christian Thanks for Margaret's life on Thursday, November 6th, 2014, 2PM at St. Mark's Anglican Church - Ocean Park (12953-20th Avenue, Surrey, BC). Condolences and/or memories of Margaret may be left on-line through victorymemorial.ca. Margaret would have liked any donations to be offered to the BCSPCA.
