Linda Marie Sawicki, born March 11, 1955 in Winnipeg, Manitoba; passed away February 10, 2018 after a long struggle with cancer. Lin grew up in Flin Flon, Manitoba and moved to Vancouver, BC where she attended UBC, earned a nursing degree and worked for many years as an emergency room RN and nurse practitioner at VGH. She moved to White Rock, BC where she became an interior designer and later, a realtor. She leaves behind many friends and business associates. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in her name to the Women’s Place Resource Centre 15318 20th Avenue Surrey, BC V4A 2A2. A celebration of her life is planned for Tuesday, February 20th at 1:00pm at Victory Memorial Funeral Centre 14831 28th Avenue, Surrey, BC
