Roy was born and raised in London, England where he served in the British Merchant Navy. He immigrated to Canada in May of 1967.
Roy is survived by his wife Jean (Janet) of almost 61 years, his son Paul (wife Karen), his daughter Debbie, and the apple of his eye; his grandson Matt.
Dad had a beautiful last day spent golfing at Hazelmere Golf Club, where he was a long time member.
We feel your presence and spirit with us every day. We will truly miss your humour and zest for life. Gone but never forgotten.

Remember me in quiet days, while raindrops whisper on your pane.
Remember in your memories have no grief, let the joy we knew remain.
Remember me if once you wake, to catch a glimpse of red sunrise.
Remember when your thoughts do turn to me, know that I would not have you cry, but live for me, and laugh for me.
When you are happy so am I.
Remember an old joke we shared.
Remember me when spring walks by.
Think once of me when you are glad
And while you live, I shall not die!
