Johanna was born in East Germany one of nine children, six girls and three boys. She came to Canada in 1956. She had one son Peter (1951-2017). She was a grandmother to 3, a great grandmother to 7, and a great great grandmother of 2. Johanna was married twice. She met Gerhard Repondak in June of 1986 and they shared a life together for 20 years until his passing in 2021. Johanna traveled often, some of her adventures included the Yukon Territories, Punta Cana, and Germany. Johanna loved her family very much and was a wonderful person, everyone always said she was a nice lady. She believed that the most important thing in life is “That you’re good to all people, and treat everyone nice; and hope they treat you nice in return.”
