Pope, Joan Elizabeth (nee Sturgess) April 5, 1923 - March 4, 2017. Mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, cousin and friend. Joan will be remembered for her kind, generous, caring, easygoing nature. A very special lady to all who knew her. She was always ready to organize or participate in any social event with family and friends. She was sharp, quick witted and had a great sense of humour. With car keys, purse in hand and lipstick on, she was ready to roll. We miss you little lady. You are now free to fly. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
