Jayden you were my best buddy. I miss you so much my sweet friend. I remember when I first met you, you were the greatest friend I could ever ask for.  I’ll see you up there one day my friend.

Jayden was a happy, friendly, enthusiastic child who brought so much light into the world. He was my son Dylan’s first best friend.  His friendship with Dylan meant so much to all of our family. I have many memories of Jayden, all of them are with him smiling, laughing and being a wonderful friend to Dylan. Jayden loved to dance, he was a big fan of Spider-Man and basketball.  He was always polite and respectful when visiting our home. Dylan really cherished Jayden as a friend.  One of Dylan’s favourite memories with Jayden is when he won a mask making class with Mrs Heart and invited Jayden.  It was a very special memory and the kids had so much fun together.  We miss Jayden very much and we will always remember and cherish the happy memories we had with him.

Even though we never met face to face, I still felt close to you because of your warm smile and your brave dance moves for the class on camera. You were dedicated to your studies and always wanted to do your best. All these things I will remember, and this is how your spirit will always be alive in my heart. You will always be a part of our class. We love you Jayden. 

Your family has been at the forefront of my thoughts ever since the school shared the news of Jayden's passing. He was in Kindergarten with our Olivia and I will always remember his sweet, smiling face as he would run to make it in the door of the classroom before the final bell rang. I remember saying on more than once occasion that he looks like such a happy little guy! No doubt he lived life to the fullest. 

Words fail to describe just how much my heart aches for you.  I know there is likely nothing to say that would bring comfort and peace at this time, but please know we are holding you in our hearts and the community shares in your grief.
