Born November 21, 1915 in Saskatchewan, Helen moved with her family to Kelowna, B.C., then to the Lower Mainland when she was 12. Predeceased by her husband Kenneth Eversley Watson (1988) and son Kenneth Preston Watson (2009) and her sisters Elizabeth, Mary and Kay.
She is survived by her sons Larry (Lynn), Denis-Basil (Colleen), Daughter-in-law Tammy, six grandchildren, and eleven great grandchildren.
Helen was devoted to her family, loved music, her garden, and was a gifted artist as well as in knitting, crocheting and sewing. Her claim to a long life was to always keep busy. A small family service will be held on Monday, July 19th at the Gardens of Gethsemani Catholic Cemetery.
