years of marriage, Hazel passed quickly in Peace
Arch Hospital at the age of 95.
Survived by her “boys” Dick, Alan (Barbara - deceased),
Stewart (Cheryl) and Graeme, her grandchildren
Richard and Rachel, her sister Ivy and her brother
Stewart (Gwen).
Born in Winnipeg, Hazel moved with Neil to the
Vancouver area soon after their marriage and
ultimately to the White Rock area in 1959, where she
remained until she died. She lived a full life, winning
a BC Summer Games gold medal in lawn bowling
and enjoying curling, reading, British TV and all of her
sons’ sports, but her greatest love was her family and
the times they spent together.
The family would like to thank Dr. Scott, the staff
at Peace Arch Hospital, and the staff and friends at
Pacific Carlton and Westminster House.
In lieu of flowers, donation to the BC Heart and
Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
