5 years!  It feels more recent, Darren.   Think of you often, miss you buddy.

Dear Jim and Donna,
I was just sitting at my desk thinking about Nash's Shoes and thought I'd try to search out some of your family.  I am heart broken to have Darren's name come up.  Please accept my sincere condolences.   I will always remember Darren as "the younger brother" to the Nash's Shoes girl clan . . . a congenial, talented, young man in my memory.

I wish to offer my deepest condolences for your loss. I apologize for the late posting. 

To be honest, I never knew or ever had the pleasure to meet Darren. I only recently learned of his passing via a chance encounter the other day. 

Darren was a friend of my brother Sam. Shortly before Darren passed, my own brother passed away. They knew each other for many years through their financial dealings in Vancouver. 

Sadly, I was so overwhelmed with my own day and obligations to bury my brother, I was unable to personally meet him and thank him for coming to the service and finding the time to pay his respects.

I now feel immense guilt, sadness and regret for not being able to do so. 

I am sure he was a wonderful man and wanted to express my condolences on behalf of my family, to yours.

Once again, I am deeply sorry for your loss.
