Sending sincere condolences to Dave and Family on Colleen's passing, I know she will be missed in your lives more than words can express. 

So very Thankful for precious memories of friendship and easy days as neighbors and friends.   Colleen was the first person I met when we moved into the neighborhood and I had no idea how important the Lady with that beautiful amazing hair would become in my days.  She shared her life experiences so honestly and gave me the courage to be brave in my life at a time when I needed the support and courage to do so.

Coffee and scones,  a symbol of welcome comfort made by loving hands for those fortunate enough to experience her generosity and kitchen.  A time to talk, laugh and relax a little.

My friend you have touched so many people, it hurts to say goodbye however we are comforted to know you are peaceful.

My sincere and deepest condolences to all the family for the loss of Colleen. I am deeply saddened by Colleen’s sudden passing. She was the best friend one could possibly have. Colleen was always generous with friends; she would always think of her family ahead of herself. For 35 years of friendship, I have admired her many talents and her knowledge; being her sewing, framing, cooking, knitting, technology, and more, she always had knowledge to share. I met Colleen a few months after I came to Canada and in her always helpful and generous way Collen showed me how to navigate life in Canada. She was a friend I could laugh with, share hobbies, learn from and most important Colleen was there when I needed a friend, and for that I will always be grateful. I feel very blessed for having met Colleen, she has left her mark in my life, she gave me her time, friendship, she taught me a lot of things. I miss her very much, but it is difficult to wish for more time with her if she had to endure more suffering than she already had.  Rest in peace my friend.

We were shocked and saddened to hear  the news of Colleen ‘s sudden passing. Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time. Even though our families didn’t get together often the short times spent together were memorable. (Nothing better than Colleen’s “Spelt Buns”)

It was with sadness that we learned of the passing of our sister-in-law Colleen and Aunt. We knew how much she meant to Dave and we know that there will be large void in David’s life in the years to come. Distance prevented us from getting to know Colleen better but we knew that she was an integral part of Dave’s past and will always be thought of during his future and ours. Family is important and we grieve for your loss, though we must permit ourselves to accept that Colleens passing may, in its own way, be a blessing. Colleen will no longer have to endure the pain or the suffering of her illness, nor will it be necessary for you Dave have to absorb the pain in seeing Colleen unwell. 
David, from our family to yours, be well, stay safe. You are thought of often.
