Another year goes by and we all still miss you. It is incredibly hard to face the reality that you are gone. Life can never be the same without you. I wish I could see you one more time and tell you how much I love you. You are constantly on my mind and without you I feel like a part of me is missing.  The bond we had for each other could never be replaced. I miss hearing your voice, seeing you smile, and holding you close. The anniversary of your death is the hardest day of the year and I don’t think that will ever change. We lost you too soon and it pains me to write this. I love you and always will.

It is a great sadness to learn a passing of my mum's half sister and my auntie. Even though I only have met her twice when I was a child as mum and auntie Anna lost touch after that, I always wanted to find her and try to reconnect. From what I remember as my childhood memory, she was just a beautiful soul with hypnotizing eyes. RIP. My thoughts are with your family and friends.  

I was sad to hear only recently that my dear friend Anna from high school had passed. I will continue to cherish all the good times and laughter we had all those years ago. I still remember us circling with me on crutches from a brozen foot the Montreal forum in 1987 trying to get the scalpers to lower what they were asking for Madonna tickets to how much money we had. Miss ya.

Miss you. Would do anything to see you just one more time.

My ❤. My all. I miss you so much I cant help it. The most honest and caring people seem to get it the worst. You have done so much for me. I always planned on repaying you. Im at a loss for words now. To hold your hand just one more time please. Everything I do, every thought I have... Reminds me of you... Every night is the same. This is my worst nightmare. You were the one i went to in times like this, there is a hole in my heart now.  She was a queen. I hope her friends think of her still. She loved her gym girls. The gentlest soul, she touched so many hearts. I never thought this could happen. Not to me. You dont feel pain until this. No one expects it will happen to them. I lost my best friend. Ever since that day my life has never been the same and it never will be. I think the hardest part of all of this for me is accepting that. 

Ill forever be thinking of you

There is not a second you are not on my mind mom. I'll always remember you're still in my heart, just like you said. I remember all the amazing times we have had and cherish them. You inspired so many people and you inspire me to be the best I can be. I love you

She is with God now free of all pain and sicknesses. She is reunited with her father, grandparents and other loved ones. I was so lucky to have known such an amazing, beautiful and intelligent person. Anna's light shined bright and her spirit will live on forever. Anna believed in heaven, and I believe that someday I will find her there.

My dear Anna, my friends, family, mother...  You know I pray for you every day, and hopefully will meet soon in heaven.  May God keep you and bless all of you!

AN ELEGY

In passionate tribute to your youth and beauty
a scarlet rose is laid to warm your stone,
a sad fulfillment of an earthly farewell duty
as tender words of love untold we so bemoan.

A promised land devoid of sickness and all sin,
you parted for, so to enjoy an endless life within.
And what is left for all of us, but merely a tomorrow ?
to suffer pain and miss you in our deepest sorrow.

My deepest heartfelt condolences to Anna's family. An unfinished life, so sad. I met Anna when they moved from Penticton some 15 years ago to Chilliwack. She was an intelligent, caring and selfless women who wanted nothing but the best for her children. They meant more to her than anything I believe. She will live on in them, they were lucky to have her even if only for a short time. Rest in peace Anna.

BLESSED TO HAVE KNOWN YOU.

Our meeting all too short,
but the teaching still intense.
We kept talking through the night, 
words were weighed, but chosen right.
                                                          
In your candle's twinkling light
I would argue all in vain
that your flame would burn forever
while you told me to refrain.

And fainthearted you were not -
save your pity for all others!
I went silent - you could speak:
how to shed our selfish streak,

whom to love, and why forgive,
where to get the courage from
to be fearless facing death 
and have strength to bear to live.

I met Anna at the Tong Louie YMCA in Surrey four years ago....we met on the stairmasters and worked out side by side .... we got to chatting and became instant friends.   From then on that summer Anna and I spent a lot of time together.  Anna had so much energy and spirit.  She motivated me to get healthy. We enjoyed walks together around Stanley Park, we had Starbucks together and spent a lot of time at the gym. We also went for many walks around the neighborhood in South Surrey where she lived. We had so much fun laughing and also talking about our hopes, dreams and aspirations.  Anna was beautiful inside and out.  She was a fiery, passionate and determined personality.  She was a good friend to me and someone I could trust. I admired her dedication to health and fitness and her positive outlook on life.
My thoughts and prayers are with Anna's children, family, and everyone else this wonderful person has touched in her life. I miss you Anna. I will always cherish the memories of our fun times.
