On this the second anniversary of the passing of Bill I’m reminded of the many lives he touched and how much he is loved and missed. 
My sadness is quieted by the happy memories of a trip down memory lane.  My tears are dried by the hand of God who lets me know daily that I am not alone.

Dear Bill,

You were there for me throughout  my life - and that was always comforting to know. Now I must let  you rest, although I'm not ready to let you go. But  you'll always be close in my memories and  pictures. 

You were a man of great potential and muli-talented with a good heart and uncanny sense of humor. I remember with pride when you had your sons, achieved NYPD gold status, bought your first home and later started your own company.

You were the "go to" uncle for the family.....advice, arguments, laughter, tears, disagreements, job referrals,  forgiveness, rides to missed appointments, lectures about those appointments - All with good intentions, And if you made us angry - it didn't matter.  Even if we stopped speaking, we still kept tabs on you through each other.

 You were an Uncle that was loved and respected.  And now we must leave you be and stand on our own.

My condolences to Joanne, Jonathan, Jason and Sherry.  May the days ahead strengthen your love for each other with peace,  tranquillity and renewed purpose.

My sincere condolences to Joanne, Jonathan and Jason.....Life is the privilege bestowed upon us because  by God ..:.yes we are here to complete whatever task  that has been assigned to us.
