It is with deep sorrow that the family of Patricia Ann McLaughlin (Goodwin) announces her passing, on December 4, 2021 at age 70. She was called away suddenly to her new assignment. We are heartbroken, but take comfort in knowing that she is with the Lord. She fought the good fight, and never gave up on herself. Being a survivor of a horrific auto accident in October 2000, her miraculous recovery gave hope to many and she went on to accomplish more than anyone could imagine. She was a teacher, a writer, a big sister and an aunt. She loved sewing, singing, camping, taking long drives and pumpkin pie. Trish loved musicals, watching ice skating and Western movies (anything with John Wayne or Clark Gable). ”White Christmas” was one of her favorite movies. She loved portraying the “School Marm” at Pioneer Village. She is preceded in death by her parents, Wellesley and Marjorie Goodwin, her brother Andrew, and her niece Sarah. She is survived by her sisters Kathe (Robert) and Teresa (Edward), sister-in-law Darla, her nieces Ashleigh, Nichole, Caitlyn, and her nephews Michael and Seth as well as 3 grand nieces and 8 grand nephews. She will be deeply missed but she is now free. We love you. “Go rest high on that mountain,.....your work on Earth is done”. No services are planned. She will be cremated and returned to her family for a private ceremony at a later date.
