Godwin, Lee Randall Lee Randall Godwin, 76, was born February 19, 1935 in Salt Lake City, UT. He passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Tuesday, August 30, 2011 in Phoenix, AZ. A graduate of the University of Utah, he moved to Phoenix with his wife, Edris, in 1963 after serving as an Officer in the US Army. He worked as a professional writer and photographer, and enjoyed many hobbies including astronomy, woodworking, gardening, fishing, and painting. He was preceded by his parents, William Edmund & Marie Eriksson, and six siblings, Helen, Ina, Barbara, Stanley, Robert, & Dolores. He is survived by his wife and best friend of 52 years, Edris Godwin, and two sons, Bill (Terry) and Alan (Jannicke). He is also survived by seven grandchildren, Tristan (Darcie), Alison (Kyle), Hannah, Brian, Hailey, Sterling & Erik, and three great-grandchildren, Kennedi, Brynlei & Strider. He was a loving husband, father, uncle, grandfather & great-grandfather, and will be missed by all. Visitation will be held on Friday, September 2nd from 5:00-8:00pm. Services will be held Saturday, September 3rd at 10:00am, with visitation one hour prior. All Services will be at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 5104 W. Pinnacle Peak Rd., Glendale, AZ 85310. Please have any floral deliveries sent to the church on Friday between 4:00 and 5:00 P.M.
