JENNINGS, John James, 75, of Surprise, Arizona, passed away on Thursday, April12, 2018 in Sun City West, Arizona. He was born on Wednesday, December 23, 1942 in Dayton, Kentucky, to James Henley Jennings and Marion Biermann Jennings. John grew up in Dayton, and then moved to Phoenix, Arizona, where he attended West High School. He later obtained a Bachelor of Science degree from New Mexico State University in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He started his career at the very beginning of the technology boom of the 1960's and 70's, and worked for companies as varied as NASA and LemCom. John continued to have a passion for the latest in technological gizmos and gadgets in his retirement years. He is survived by his beloved wife of 49 years, Janet; his son, Christopher and his wife, Deirdre; his daughter, Angela and her husband, Mark; his three wonderful granddaughters, Katelin, Kirin, and Darla; his mother-in-law, Carol Woodburn; and his dear Shih Tzu, "Judy". In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in John's name to the American Diabetes Association, or to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPACA). The greatest joys in John's life were his children, his grandchildren, and his loving wife.
