James Bryant Becker

James Bryant Becker of Waddell, Arizona passed away on Friday April 29,2022 at the age of 77. After several months of battling cancer and COPD he passed away peacefully in the comfort of his own home.

James was born in Kansas City, Kansas on February 8th, 1945. He enlisted in the United States Marine Corps at the age of 18. He is a Vietnam Veteran and served his country with honor for six years, rising to the rank of Sergeant. He was proud to call himself a Marine.

James is survived by his beloved wife of 56 years, Veronica; two daughters Janet and Robin, three grandchildren Christopher, Lauren and Dylan, five great grandchildren Faith, Destiny, Eleanor, Addison, and Ryder, two siblings Robert and Charles and his beloved Dachshund Penny.

A memorial service is planned for Saturday June 25, 2022 at 11am with full military honors at Dignity Memorial in Surprise, AZ. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Arizona Department of Veterans Services below in honor of James.
