Jacque Jeanne (Allen) Larson, 74, was born on June 24, 1946 in Winslow, Ariz. to JoNell McKinley and Charlie Allen. She died December 17, 2020 in Surprise, Ariz. due to complications associated with COVID-19.
A 1964 graduate of Winslow High School in Winslow, Ariz., Jacque enjoyed retirement for the last several years working part time after multiple careers. She began her career as a telephone operator, a job her mother proudly held for many years. She eventually moved onto work for Arizona Public Service where she held various roles. She realized a long time goal of teaching late in her career and at the age of 50 went back to school to obtain her Bachelors degree in Education. Before retirement she taught fourth grade at Paradise Schools in Surprise, Ariz.
Jacque loved her family unconditionally and valued time together, particularly when enjoying a good meal together. She loved Jesus and her church family at Desert Palms Presbyterian Church. As an animal lover, she never met a pet she didn’t instantly love as her own. She leaves behind her beloved cats Snowball.
