Gary Paul Edward Madison

Gary Paul Edward Madison, 67, of Bainbridge Island, WA, and Surprise, AZ, passed away suddenly on May 31, 2013. Gary and JoVanna made their winter home in Arizona Traditions Community in Surprise, AZ. They made many friends while enjoying square dancing with the Westerner's and Wagoneer's. Gary, a Vietnam Veteran, served his country honorably in the US Marine Corps. Gary received his Bachelor of Architecure at the University of Oregon; he worked as an architect and designer throughout his life. Gary was an active member of Happy Trails Christian Fellowship in AZ and Bainbridge Island Church in WA. Gary emanated integrity in all his pursuits; he was adventurous and shared his unique style of wit and humor with everyone. He is survived by his beloved wife of 14 years, JoVanna Moses; two step children, Eric Moses and Chris Moses; seven step-grandchildren, Curtiss, Kalee, Shane, Tony, Tyler, Robbie and Saundra; many aunts and uncles, cousins and friends. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, July 20, 2013 at Bainbridge Island Church, Bainbridge Island, WA. Arrangements are entrusted to Surprise Funeral Care, Surprise, AZ.
