I knew Dave from the time we were wild and crazy junior high kids in Germany 60 years ago.  
We both later moved to Fort Ord, California, where Dave met and married my best friend, Carnell.  I was her bridesmaid.  

Through the years my husband and I remained close friends with Dave and Carnell, and, wherever we were stationed, we managed to get together and shared many good times.  No matter how many years passed between our visits, we always picked up like no time had passed at all.  Our children were close in age and also were friends.

Dave was a true family man, a wonderful husband and father.  He was a terrific person and so much fun to be around.  He will be missed terribly and his memory will be treasured by so many friends and family.  RIP Dave.

Our first memory was a Halloween dance sharing a table.  From that point a friendship evolved that we could never had imagined. We danced, went to shows,  movies, resturants, each other homes, shared holidays, bowling, mini golf, and the famous hanging of the eyes. Dave was so incredibly proud of his family. He loved to tell stories, but he could listen. Our domino games became a fun time of “talking” and how Dave would laugh at how many weeks it would take to complete a game. The most precious memory is how we prayed for each other and our families. We are the ones who were blessed to have your friendship Dave.

My dad’s legacy will live through all 4 of his children. We each carry a piece of him in our hearts and souls.  I appreciate his support through good times and bad.  Dad you taught us how to be the amazing people we are. We love you and will miss you.

When I was in my first year of college, I lived near my dear grandfather. I would visit him and my nana once a month. Grandpa never let me leave without a full tank of gas in my car. He was always supportive of me, my husband, and my 2 girls. 

Nana, I love you and am always here for you.

Grandpa, you are dearly loved and sorely missed. 

I went to visit my great grandparents in 2016 and my great grandpa took me bowling. I got my first strike with him. It was fun. 😘 miss you

My  life was an adventure with this handsome man. Because he was in the Air Force,  we lived in England, Germany, California and Mississippi . I was always excited to move to the next base. The only base Dave didn’t especially want to go to was  Vietnam  in 1968, but he did what his country asked of him, ultimately serving for 20 years. When he retired, Dave worked forBank of America, CityCorp and US Bank in collections.

Dave was a very proud man who loved his family. We have 4 wonderful children, 11 grandchildren, and 4 beautiful great grand-daughters. 

He loved sports and took up golf when we retired. He was a duffer who had such fun riding around the course in his trusty golf cart, hitting the little white ball and cutting up with his friends,

My husband was a great father, a hard worker and provider, a man who loved the Lord and looked forward to seeing Jesus and saving a place in heaven for me, He was my best friend, my precious love and there is a deep hole in my heart.

I love you Dave and miss you.......💘

Uncle Dave always made me laugh with is Donald Duck voice!   His strong happy presence at our family dinners made the mood comfortable and calm.  He will be missed.

I knew Dave for almost 45 years. He was my brother-in-law.  Even though we didn't see each other over the years  I still have fond memories of him and Carnell. He was always smiling and had lots of stories to tell. Lots of things to remember but always loved his mashed potatoes. They were the best ever....Love you Dave and RIP.
