I was so heart-broken to hear of Daniel's passing. He was such a kind-hearted young man and a pleasure to have in class. Those of us who were lucky enough to have known him are the better for it. My thoughts and prayers go out to his parents, his family and his friends.

 
Daniel! It is so hard to even catch a breath for we miss you so. We were honored to have been chosen to be your God parents. There are so many things we will miss but most of all you hugs. You gave a hug that let someone know they were loved. We did not have enough time. I am angry but most of all that we did not have enough time and I want more time with you. Your amazing blue eyes and that infectious smile that would let you get anything you wanted. Because of my faith I'm sure your sitting on a river bank with God showing him how to bait a hook. Its hard to believe he's really gone daniel was a close friend and all i can really say is that he was the big guy that would stand up for the little guy. He always had a smile on his face and was always passionate about his friends and he never gave you a chance to hate him. Daniel always had a smile and so polite. I enjoyed being his "substitute" teacher over at Sonoran Heights and having him as a neighbor. So sorry for your loss. I worked with the students at Sonoran Heights when Daniel was in 7th grade. I loved talking with him and laughing with him. He always started my day with a big smile and sometimes a random question. I pray for your family in this time of grief. Danilel will be truly missed.

I remember when you used to come over and play catch all day and would bring your pair of helmets and pads for us to go all out. You would always love to come to our house and I loved going to yours. We had fun times in different states, California and Las Vegas, and we had a blast every time, and I always liked to see how excited you were. I also loved to go fishing at the Surprise Lake even though we had been there for hours and wouldn't catch anything, we would still be happy and at the end of the day we would ask a guy you knew if we could have some of his fish, and we would walk away happy. In Elementary School from 5th through 8th grade we would always be together and never apart. There is much more but I'll just save the rest for my own memories. Rest in Peace Daniel Hill. I am so very sorry for your loss...I was Daniel's Architecture teacher at SRHS and Daniel always had a smile and a warm "Hello Mr. Thomas" for me each day...he had such a talent for Architecture. Once again, sorry to hear of Daniel's passing...

Daniel was an awesome kid who I had the honor of coaching for a few seasons in football. His smile and personality was so infectious amongst his teammates. I remember the day he broke his leg and I tried telling him to walk it off it's just a bruise and he said to me Coach "look at my leg I think it's more than a bruise" lol still after that he wanted to get back out in the field to find the kid who went low on him and blast him lol. The kid had a never quit mentality! He will be forever missed and remembered. While ur up there in heaven kid remember "stay low and keep your feet moving"

I'm so incredibly sorry for all Daniel's family. He was an amazing person & I'm completely grateful he was my friend. I miss him more & more everyday but know that at least he's somewhere where he isn't hurting & in the hands of God. I love you Daniel. You will forever be in my heart & prayers
