Charles was born in Long Beach California to Charles Ervin Price and Bonnie Onita King. His mother built The Price’s Foothill Club from the ground up. Charles grew up in the bar business and eventually became co-owner of one of the most renowned country western nightclubs of the time. He also ran several smaller bars that catered to the locals and sailors.
Charles married Julia Dean Russell and had two children, Coral Lee Price & Charles Ronald Price II. They eventually divorced after 22 years of marriage and Julia preceded him in death.
In time, Charles was reintroduced to his long-lost high school sweetheart. After getting reacquainted, Charles married Wanda Lee Glasgow and took on the role of stepfather to three of her four children. Kelly Burke, Ronda Burke, and Wendy Burke.
As retirement loomed, Charles and Wanda moved to Lake Havasu City where they enjoyed the desert and river action. In time, they relocated to Pagosa Springs, Colorado. Both had a strong desire to live in the mountains and enjoy the serenity and beauty of nature.
They had grandkids and great grandkids in numbers too large to count. After forty years of marriage, Wanda was taken home to Christ in January 2021. Charles once again relocated to Arizona where he passed due to complications from cancer surgery.
Charles loved his wife, his family, and most especially, his dogs; Morgan, Roxanne, Duke, and Sadie. He truly became the mountain man he always desired to be and lived an amazingly full life in between the dashes.
Charles will be missed by so many.
