He is preceded in death by his wife Patricia and granddaughter Stephanie.
Victor is survived by his four children: Victor 'Chip' Kelling, Jr. (Patti), Deborah Lavoie (Leo), Jennifer DiGiro (Domenic) and Michael Kelling (Amanda), grandchildren: Jennifer 'Muffin' Neumann, Steven Kelling, Anthony Kelling, Alice Kelling, Paul Lipscomb, Cassandra Lipscomb, Taylor DiGiro, Shannon DiGiro and Mikayl Sams, and 5 great grandchildren.
Victor joined the United States Navy in 1953 and was stationed in San Francisco, California where he served for eight years as a Seabee. After the military, he enjoyed a career as automotive technician.
He loved hunting and camping. Victor's love for the outdoors was only surpassed by the love he had for his family. Some of the family's most treasured memories are of being together camping. His children remember how he was 'the Dad that could do anything', whether fixing cars, house repairs, yard work, anything! Victor had the ability to talk to anyone, made friends easily, and was a great storyteller.
