Thomas Edward Dillon, Jr., 85, passed away on August 1, 2019 in Surprise, Arizona. Tom was born on October 5, 1933 in Bronx, New York to Thomas and Mary (Kearns) Dillon. He attended Rice High School in New York City and studied Accounting at Iona College in New Rochelle, New York. On November 6, 1965, Tom had one of his proudest family moments when he married Mary Ann Fioravanti at St. Sylvester’s Church in Brooklyn, New York. He was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) Local 3 and worked at the Daily News in New York as a House Electrician. In 1982, Tom and Mary moved to Arizona settling in Sun City West. Tom enjoyed playing tennis, ballroom dancing, karaoke, and traveling. He was an avid researcher of multiple topics. His wife Mary predeceased Tom.
Visitation will be held Monday, August 19, 2019 from 9:15am to 9:45am at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 19002 N 128th Ave., Sun City West, AZ 85375. Funeral Mass will follow at 10:00am. A luncheon will be held at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 14818 W Deer Valley Dr., Sun City West, AZ 85375. The Committal Service will be at Sunland Memorial Park, 15826 N.
