Shirley Jane Shaffer, 89, of Peoria, Arizona passed away on May 1, 2015. She was born on January 19, 1926 to Norman and Marian Johnson in Chicago, Illinois. She graduated from Von Steuben High School in Chicago. Shirley retired from Rockwell International and moved in Arizona in 1992. She was a member of the Dawn Walkers and 1st Christian Church.
She will be missed by her children, Sandra Torres and Thomas McLean; grandchildren, Thomas McLean and Todd Schwarzkopf; great grandchildren, Madison McLean, Hannah McLean, Abby McLean, and Taylor Schwarzkopf. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister Marian Retzel.
Private cremation services are handled by Sunland Mortuary of Sun City, Arizona.
