These are just a few of the many descriptions that apply to Ruth Margaret Schlitzer May, deceased Thursday July 7, 2011. She died suddenly of natural causes at her home in Royal Oaks Life Care, Sun City, Arizona.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Edward May, Cdr USN Ret., nine of her children, 15 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren, living everywhere around this great country.
They are: Son, Robert Edward May Jr.; Son William Raymond May, his children Aileen Margaret (Stewart), Michael Christopher, Jason Timothy, Sarah Anne (Gonzalez), William Richard, John Frederick and Sebastion Cody, Bill’s grandchildren Zachary Allen Stewart, Michaela May, Brian Jason “BJ” Daniels, Vincent Robert Daniels, Mykaila Liana Brittany Daniels, Conner May, Sasha Monica Gonzalez, Nichole Adriana Gonzalez, Shaughn May, Keller May, and Ryan Joseph May; Daughter Joanne Margaret May Mell; Daughter Ruth Anne May Hoffman (Schuyler IV) and her sons Schuyler Van Vechten Hoffman, V and Martin Winthrop Hoffman; Daughter Eileen Kathryn May (Buddhist Tenzin Drolkar); Daughter Cynthia Marie May Ponath (Karl) and her son Quentin Ponath; Son James Walter May (Sugene) and sons James Walter May Jr. and Collin Taylor May; Son Donald Frederick May (Connie) and sons Harrison Michael May and Kenneth Lee May; Son John Henry May (Chris) and his twins Caroline Ruth and Daniel Casey; Grandson Ashton John May (son of Theresa Carol May, deceased).

Ruth will be inurned in Arlington National Cemetery, Washington, D.C.
