Robert T. Byrnes

Robert ( Bob ) Byrnes age 88 passed away on October 12 , 2019. He leaves behind Mary, his wife of 68 years and children Tom and wife Joanne, Bill and wife Nan, John and wife Paula , and Barb and husband Brian and sister Barbara Remmer. His career was principally spent as a financial analyst for Standard Oil company which later became Amoco Oil company. He was born in Chicago, Illinois and later in life moved to Rolling Meadows, Illinois, a suburb of Chicago. He was an Alderman in Rolling Meadows and enjoyed being involved in the local youth baseball association. He later moved to Sun City West , Arizona and spent 29 years there. He was very active in many clubs including the Computer Club. He was also active in Men’s Stardust Golf Club and was president for a time. He has nine grandchildren Ben, Amanda, Megan, Kevin, Sara, Samantha, Mitch, Tom, and Kate. They have 5 great grandchildren, named Grace, Audrey , Kyle, Isaac and Ada. He will be missed by all who knew him.
