Visitation will be held at Sunland Mortuary-Lakeside Chapel, 15826 Del Webb Blvd, in Sun City, on Friday, March 17th, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.

Visitation will also be held from 8:30 – 9:30 prior to the Mass of Christian Burial which will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 18th, 2016 at St. Clement of Rome Catholic Church, 15800 N. Del Webb Blvd, Sun City, AZ 85351. Burial will be at Sunland Memorial following mass.

Richard was married 56 years to his late wife, Cecilia Dolan. He served four years in the United States Army and started out as a mechanic, then foreman and eventually manager for Mack Trucks in Chicago, Illinois. He moved to Sun City in 1991 where he worked at the Sun City Recreation Center for 20 years. He had a love for cars, boats, bowling and spending time with his family and made friends wherever he went.

Richard has two sons, Richard III (Rita) and Ronald (Michelle); and a daughter, Laura (James Blake). He had four grandchildren: Elizabeth (Robert Barthel), Alycia (Giovani Morici), Nicole and Jacob. He had one great-granddaughter, Emily, and a “soon to be” great-grandson. He also had several step-grandchildren: Bill, Mike, Mike, Shannon and Justine.
