Preston was born on September 15th, 1966, in Martha’s Vineyard, Massachusetts to Parents: Preston Robert Hanna and Constance (Shew) Hanna. When Preston was 5, they moved to Rhode Island where he spent a large majority of his childhood in Woonsocket, RI. He graduated from Woonsocket High School in 1984. He moved to Arizona in 1985 and received an associate degree from Mesa Community College in business management.
Preston was a fun-loving, hilarious, intelligent, caring and loving soul that was passionate about his beliefs. If you knew Preston you knew he was quite the Jokester, always life of the party, and loved to tell a good joke or play pranks on his friends and family. He loved to learn and enjoyed engaging his mind with a wide array of tasks that others would consider difficult. Some of his greatest accomplishments included obtaining his pilot’s license, successfully running and managing a car lot, and owning and operating a successful concrete ready-mix company. Preston also went on to be a Mortgage Loan Officer where he received top mortgage Salesman while employed at Wells Fargo, 2 years in a row. Preston obtained his Real Estate License as he and his wife Paula planned to be a Husband-and-Wife real estate sales team, in their retirement years. Preston was the epitome of the saying jack of all trades. Whether it was working on cars, finishing concrete, building BBQ islands or pergolas, he could build or fix anything. Family and friends always called upon Preston to use this skillset when anything needed to be fixed, whether it be a car, washer/dryer, water leak, etc. He found great pleasure the last several years playing the game of cornhole, with family unofficially naming him the "Cornhole king".
Preston’s Number #1 Priority in Life was his family. He was an exceptional Husband, Father, Grandfather, and Fur Daddy (Kozmo). Whether it was vacationing, camping, or hanging out poolside, he cherished his time spent with family.
He is survived by his wife, Paula, Kozmo (fur child), Brad (son), Claire (daughter in Law), Bryce (Grandson), Brooke (Granddaughter), Austin (Grandson), Constance Dursin (Mother), John Dursin (Father), Siblings (in laws) Patricia (Rick), Pamela, Penny (Randy), Trina (Bob), Jack, Charlie (Amy), and CJ, as well as many other family and friends including Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins.
Preston, you will always be in our hearts……WE LOVE YOU!!!!
