Bloomington, IL to George and Margaret Killian. She received her Bachelor's degree in Education at Illinois State University in 1960. Her life was dedicated to helping those in need, especially children. As a teacher, Pat taught reading in elementary schools. After moving to Jacksonville, IL. Pat became the Executive Director for Big Brothers/Big Sisters (now of West Central IL). She served as Director from 1976 to 1984. In 1984, the family moved to Arizona. Pat worked for the State of Arizona at both DES and AHCCCS for 20 years, where she continued with her passion to help people. In retirement, she worked for Children's Action Alliance. Pat loved to read and loved to play bridge. Pat was a member of the Red Hat Society, which she really enjoyed. She was fortunate to travel to Europe twice. Pat is survived by her husband of 52 years William, daughter Kathy, son James, grandson Michael, granddaughter Jordan, sister Margaret (Brian) and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents George and Margaret and her brother Thomas.
Visitation will be 5-7:30 pm with a Rosary at 7pm on Friday, June 3 at Sunland Mortuary, 15826 Del Webb Blvd in Sun City. Catholic Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 am on Saturday, June 4, at St. Clement of Rome, 15800 Del Webb Blvd. Sun City.
