Oliver Victor Stark earned his angel's wings on March 8, 2015, after a valiant struggle against medical odds. He was born September 14, 1940, in Billings, MT to Edith and Oliver Stark, both of whom preceded him in death. Oliver married the love of his life, Karen Schwartz, on November 23, 1961 and their love shone for 53 years. To this union their daughter, Susan, and son, Todd, were born.
Oliver had many jobs during his lifetime. He owned Western Awards & Engraving and Memories for 15 years, which he sold when he migrated to Washington State where he went to work for the Boeing Company, finishing as a supervisor for the 757 line. He was active in the Boeing Employees Choir where he toured the world singing. He even got to Broadway when the Kent (WA) United Methodist Church choir was invited to sing at Carnegie Hall.
After Karen's retirement from Boeing, they sold their home in Washington, and relocated to Sun City, AZ, where he enjoyed the sunshine, going to the "good guys" car shows, driving his golf car, watching the Mariners spring training, and visiting family and friends. His love of his wife and family were the #1 reason for his life. He is survived by his wife, Karen; daughter Susan (Tracy) Wagner and their three sons, Brandon (Arianna), Taylor and Cody; his son, Todd (Sheila) and her daughters, Megan, Brittany and Tara; his sister Carol (Bill) Ferro; sister-in-law, Kay (Efren) Sanchez; nieces, nephews, and cousins.
We will miss your passion, your humor, your smile, your light, and the twinkle in your eyes, even when life was handing you lemons.
