Michael Anthony Garcia

Michael A. Garcia, 57, of Waddell, Arizona passed away on January 29, 2015. Visitation will be held on Monday, February 9, from 9-10 a.m. at Sunland Mortuary, 15826 N Del Webb Blvd in Sun City, Arizona. Immediately following the visitation at the funeral home, a Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. at St. Clement of Rome Catholic Church, 15800 Del Webb Blvd. in Sun City, Arizona 85351 with burial at Sunland Memorial Park.

Michael was born on January 10, 1958, to Antonio Garcia and Elena (Larry) Bowker in Honolulu, Hawaii. He attended Maryknoll School from 1962 to 1975. He retired as a master sergeant in the U.S. Air Force after 24 years. After retiring from the military, Michael was an armed senior officer at the Palo Verde Nuclear Power Plant for ten years.

Michael was a loving son, brother, father, grandfather, fiancé, uncle, and friend and will be missed by a son, Chris (Dora) Garcia and his grandchildren, Michael, Andrew, and Koa Garcia; two daughters, Niki Garcia and Danielle Garcia; father, Antonio (Lynn) Garcia; mother, Elena (Larry) Bowker, fiancé Diane Foley; siblings, Debra Garcia, Ralph (Lynn) Gracia, Mark (Christi) Bowker, and Guy (Joann) Bowker; many relatives and friends.
