Lavern “Vern” G. Trausch, age 98, passed away on December 23, 2016 in Sun City. He is survived by his son Mike (Vickie) of Peoria, step-sons Merle (Jacki) Jones of Sun City and Doug (Treasa) Jones of Vancouver, WA, his sister Susan (Harry) Thaut of Hastings, NE, and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Friday, January 6, 2017 from 5-8 pm with rosary. Funeral mass will be held the next day, Saturday, January 7, 2017 at 10 am at St Clement of Rome Catholic Church, 15800 W Del Webb Blvd, Sun City, AZ, interment to follow at Sunland Memorial Park also in Sun City.
