Joseph F. Paris passed away peacefully at his home in Peoria, Arizona with his beloved wife or 62 years, by his side. He was born on April 9, 1933 in Fairview Township, Pennsylvania to Joseph and Josephine Piscionere (Matlach).
Joe was very proud of his time as an Army Paratrooper. He honorably served during the Korean Conflict as a Staff Sergeant from 1951-1954. While serving in the military he met his wife Ruth. They were married in 1953 and enjoyed 62 years together. Over the years, they raised two sons, Gary and Randy Paris. Joe and Ruth enjoyed league bowling, attended spring training games, PIR Racing and traveled both domestic and abroad.
Joe began working at a very early age alongside his father at Union Carbide Steel Mills. He then entered the aerospace industry as a scheduler for Goodyear Aerospace working his way up to Superintendent of Structures. He eventually became Plant Manager for Loral Aerospace Lockheed Martin where he retired after 30 plus years in the industry.
Joe is survived by his wife Ruth Paris; sons Gary Paris and Randy Paris; sister Rosemary Riddle; grandchildren Stacy Davies Misti Tesar, Joey Paris and Trish Payne; in addition to 9 great-grandchildren.
