Joan H Peters

Joan Helen Behrendt-Kinzig-Peters, age 90 of Peoria, Arizona. A resident of Freedom Plaza and formally from Erie, Pennsylvania passed April 12th 2023. She was the Daughter of John Sr. and Olivia (Froehlich) Behrendt. She was a graduate of St. Benedicts Academy Erie Pa, and was employed at Shaw Tv and Appliance as a bookkeeper in Erie and as a Bookkeeper at Del Webb and Thunderbird Bank in Phoenix Az. She enjoyed sewing, Cake Decorating, Travel and playing cards. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husbands Bernard D. Kinzig and Reid C. Peters and her siblings Paul, John, Fred Behrendt, Louise Pakulski, Romana Cook: and daughter-in-law Crystal Kinzig.

She is survived by her children David T. Kinzig (Jane), Paul M. Kinzig (Kathleen), James M. Kinzig, and Patrick J. Kinzig (Deborah) all of Erie, Pa. Stepson Earl (Chris) Peters of Phoenix, Az, and Kimberly Mackowski (Robert) of Erie, Pa, and a Brother Robert Behrendt of Wickenburg ,Az. Grandchildren Matthew (Jessica) Kinzig, Michael (Denise) Kinzig, Jared (Delani) Kinzig, and Nathan Kinzig, Earl jr. (Chris) Peters, Lisa (Lenny) Behie, Matthew (Reba) Peters, Jon (Hannah) Peters, Elizabeth (Matt) Slechta.

She was the Great-grandmother of Hayden, Savannah Kinzig, Aubree, Andrew, Anna Kinzig, Megan Ortz, Langston Kinzig, Jared, Jeremy Behie, Nathan, Hailee Peters, Emrie, Adaline, Owen Peters, Breeanne, Luke Peters and many Nieces, and Nephews.
