Helen C Holby, 89, of Sun City, Arizona passed away peacefully Friday, April 28, 2017. She was born in Jeannette, Pennsylvania on February 5, 1928 the daughter of George and Hazel Crisman.
Helen married her husband James (Jim) Holby on the 11th of November 1952. They were married 61 years until his death May 3rd, 2014.
Helen and Jim came to Phoenix in 1960 where he was a design engineer for Sperry Flight Systems/Honeywell. Helen was a homemaker.
Helen was a very talented artist who loved to paint, sew and do crafts of any kind. She and Jim enjoyed traveling and spending summers at their Show Low home. Helen was a Christian with an unwavering faith in the Lord.
Visitation will be at 5:00 – 6:00 pm Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at the Sunland Memorial Park and Mortuary, 15826 Del Webb Blvd., Sun City. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 pm Wednesday, May 3, 2017 at the Sunland Memorial Park and Mortuary, with Pastor Bill Bjork officiating.
