He was born on August 4th, 1951 in Mt.Clemens, Michigan to Theresa and Francis Sr. He moved to the Phoenix area when he was 12 years old. Where he attended St.Gregory's Catholic Grade School ,and was a 1969 graduate of Bourgade Catholic High School. His first job was delivering newspapers, during high school he worked bagging groceries at AJ Bayless and spent his career in the heating and air conditioning industry, primarily doing warehouse management.
Frank was a devoted husband of 49 years to Pamela Voiland, and a loving father to their son Frank III. He is survived by five siblings; Mike Voiland (Sharon), Lucy Patterson (Gary), Margie Moore, Mark Voiland (Maria) and Jane Huntley. He also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents , Francis Sr. and Theresa.
Frank's favorite pastimes included teaching hunter safety for the NRA, hunting, and being outdoors. He enjoyed woodworking and mechanics. He built his first sand buggy when he was 20 years old. He was very good at bowling and played on several leagues. Frank wore many hats throughout his life- he was a loving husband, devoted father, cherished son, supportive brother, fun uncle, proud godfather , and a loyal friend. In every role he gave his whole heart, touching the lives of everyone around him with his kindness, humor and unwavering love. Frank will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him, and his impact will remain in the countless memories and stories shared by those who love him. He leaves behind a legacy of love and connection that will never be forgotten.
Frank's life will be celebrated with a Catholic Mass at St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church in Sun City, on Wednesday, January 8th at 10 a.m.
