Edward J. Lopinski, 77, of Sun City, AZ passed away at home on June 3, 2021. He is survived by his daughter, Barb, his granddaughter, Sarah, his brother Tom, his sisters Gerry and Ginny, and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Cecelia, his wife Renee, and his daughters Julie and Corrie.
Ed was born and raised in Toledo OH. He graduated from Macomber High School and was a gifted athlete and Senior Class President. Following High School, he attended the University of Toledo on a wrestling scholarship and earned a Bachelor's of Science degree in Electrical Engineering. In 1969 he relocated to Pennsylvania and began his career with AMP. He retired from AMP in the late 90s and relocated to Arizona in 2008, where he lived his remaining years.
He loved spending time with family and friends as well as golfing, gardening, and fishing. Ed's strongly rooted faith and trust in Jesus Christ defined his daily actions and his path in life. His love of God and helping others to achieve what he had was not just his passion but his life's calling . Ed's motto was "Fully Rely On God" (FROG). He will be fondly remembered and missed dearly by his family and friends.
