Dorothy Helen Kentner, age 91, of Sun City, AZ passed into the loving arms of the Lord Jesus Christ on Sunday, September 30, 2012, after a long illness. Dorothy is preceded in death by husband Raymond Kentner, and will be privately interred at Montrose Cemetery, Chicago, IL. Born in Chicago in 1921 to mother Emma and father Henry Bauer, Dorothy graduated from Immaculata High School in uptown Chicago. Dor, as she was known to her dear friends, had a long career with the Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Paul & Pacific Railroad, also known as the Milwaukee Road. Dorothy’s life was a tribute of love and Christian service to people and her beloved church. She was a long-standing member of St. Joachim & St. Anne Catholic church of Sun City, AZ. It is asked that memorial donations on Dorothy’s behalf be directed to her church, located at 11625 N. 111th Ave., Sun City, AZ 85372. Sunland Mortuary was entrusted with Mrs. Kentner’s care.
