Danny Joe Engler Sr.

He was born March 4, 1943 in the Wadsworth, OH to the later Charles and Helen (Camp) Engler. Danny graduated from Wadsworth Senior High School and married Penny Saltzman on Sept. 21, 1963 in Wadsworth, OH. Danny is the father of daughter Daneen M Smith of Buckeye, Arizona and Son Danny J. Engler Jr. (deceased). He also leaves behind sisters Dixie Wigbells, Joyce Grabowski and brother Chuck engler: Many nieces and nephews and cousins, after a career of 22 years in the US Air Force Danny decided to retire and went to work for the U.S Postal Service in Quality control. He finally decided to call it quits in early 2000 and start a life as a retiree. In 2010, Penny became very ill and Danny spent every day sitting with her in the hospital until she passed in Dec. of 2015 for the next 8 years, Danny would spend his time prospecting and slowly remodeling his house.

In May of 2023 he was diagnosed with leukemia.
