Charlotte Ann Wenzel, 75, died Wednesday November 15, 2017 from heart failure due to sudden illness. Charlotte leaves her husband of 57 years, Donald Richard Wenzel; her son Bruce Wenzel and his wife; her daughters, Brigitte Wenzel, Elizabeth Albrecht, Deborah Reuteman and their spouses; 14 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; brothers Roger Haas, Dale Jackson, David Jackson, and many other relatives and close friends.
Charlotte was a homemaker, housewife, and Mother. Once her children were older she took on several different occupations. Among them were her own daycare center, working for Pillsbury corporation as a baker and pie decorator, and cleaning houses.
Charlotte was an excellent cook and baker. Her and her husband Don retired at an early age. They resided at their lake home in Shannow, Wisconsin then later moved to Arizona. Charlotte loved animals and being in the outdoors. She spent a lot of her time planting beautiful gardens. Charlotte had an incredible talent for interior decorating. she enjoyed staging her house for all holiday occasions.
Throughout the years Charlotte involved herself in many different arts and crafts adventures, among them were ceramics, crocheting, stamping greeting cards, scrapbooks, and her latest coloring. She collected decorative perfume bottles and Serafin Angels. Charlotte loved to entertain and socialize. She looked forward to her weekly gathering and aqua aerobics with lady friends. Charlotte had so much love and passion for family, friends, and life, but her greatest reward was being able to care for and spend time with all her grandchildren.
