Charles Lee Reeves

Charles Lee Reeves, age 89, died on December 29 2023. He was a long time resident of Sun City West, Arizona and a member of SCW Christian Church where he was baptized in 1994. Viewing and then graveside services will be held at Sunland Memorial Park in Sun City Arizona on January 5, 2024 at 9 a.m.

After attending Lochland High School he joined the United States Air Force in 1951 and was a Fire Fighter at March AFB in Riverside California until 1955. He then became a Fireman with the Rubidoux, California Fire Department before moving into the Aircraft Industry as a Fireman with McDonnell Douglas in Palmdale California until his retirement in 1993.

Chuck as he was known by all that knew him, was born on October 4, 1934 in Nashville Tennessee. He was the 4th of 8 children of Joseph and Minnie Reeves. All of his siblings preceded him in death. Chuck was an avid golfer since his youth.

Chuck is survived by his wife Dolores of 65 years; 2 sons, David and Mark as well as a daughter-in-law, Ruthie. His 3rd son, Gregory passed away in 2007; as did his Grandson, Army SSG Jason Reeves who had been killed in action in Afghanistan in 2010. He also leaves behind 1 Granddaughter (Stacy), 3 Great grandchildren (Alexis, Tatum and Revin) and a Great-Great Granddaughter (Hazel).
