Alda Gonsalves Peni

Alda Gonsalves Peni, 87, passed away September 7, 2022 in Surprise, Arizona. She was born on February 1, 1935 to Manuel and Candida Lobo in Brava, Cape Verde Islands and lived the majority of her life in Northern California and the last 15 years in Arizona.

Alda always had a beautiful smile for her friends and family and took an active part in raising her grandchildren. She was passionate about gardening and enjoyed cooking.

Alda is survived by her four children: Albert, Catherine, Richard and Manuel Gonsalves; three grandchildren and a great grandchild.

Her warmth and love will be missed by her family and friends but fond memories of her will remain forever.

A memorial graveside service is planned for Tuesday, November 15, 2022, 1:00 PM at Cypress Hill Memorial Park, 430 Magnolia Ave., Petaluma, CA 94952.
