Albert Leon Dugas, Jr., 89, passed away September 7, 2020. Albert was born on March 3, 1931 in New Orleans, LA to Albert and Corrine (Pitre) Dugas. Albert served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was a MBA graduate of Pepperdine University and worked as a Sheriff Deputy with the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department for 27 years. He retired from L.A.S.D. as a lieutenant in 1981. He was a member of the Briarwood Country Club in Sun City West. Albert enjoyed playing golf and has made 2 holes in one. Albert was active with the Shriners, he loved to travel, but most of all he loved his family.
Albert was predeceased by his wife of almost 30 years Gini. He is survived by his children Steven (Sheryl) Dugas and Catherine Messenger; his grandchildren Rachel Messenger, Randall (Venessa) Messenger, Christienne (Daniel) Weltz and Michelle (Jason) Fisher; as well as his 9 great grandchildren.
