Karin Lotz, 78, from Sumner, WA, passed away peacefully in her sleep surrounded by her sister, children, and grandchildren during the early morning hours last Thursday. Karin was born to Walter and Auguste Lotz in Frankfurt, Germany near the beginning of the 2nd World War. She married George Noyes III, an American Soldier, in 1956 and they had 5 children, George, Don, Ginger, Cynthia, and Pamela. She lived a life full of challenges which were met with tenacity and altruism. She inspired those around her to do their best and displayed an endless capacity to love and nurture those lucky enough to be in her presence.
She is survived by her sons George and Don, daughters Ginger and Cynthia, her sister Marlen, 9 Grandchildren, 29 Great-Grandchildren, 1 Great-Great Grandchild, cousin Inga in Germany, and many loved ones.
Friends and family will share personal experiences during her remembrance at her son’s home at noon this Saturday, August 5th. The celebration of her smile, humor, and good nature will be at 4435 Foxhall Drive NE Olympia, WA 98516.
