Dr. Jack Edward Nelson

He graduated from Salem High School, in Salem Oregon and from Pacific University School of Optometry in Forest Grove, Oregon in 1958.

He moved in 1959 to Sumner and started his Optometry practice. Later he moved his practice to Federal Way where he was in active in the Federal Way Rotary.

Jack loved to sing with the First Presbyterian Church choir for many years. He also joined the Rainier Chorale Choir and enjoyed many years of performances with them.

He also volunteered for the Centre Stage Theater in Federal way

He is preceded in death by his parents, brother George (aka Bill), sister Elizabeth Adams (Liz) and son Dan.

Jack is survived by daughter Dena (Brian) Holdener, granddaughters Jaclyn (Tyler) Kaech and Lindsey Holdener, nieces Suzanne Rea, Michelle Dunphy and nephews

Robert, Charles and James Adams.
